A mass brawl involving 25 people led to one teenager being stabbed in Chalfont St Peter on Saturday evening.
At approximately 6.25pm, a teenage boy was stabbed in the abdomen in a field off of Gravel Way, near to Chalfont St Peter Football Club.
A suspect has been identified and was arrested on suspicion of GBH. They have since been released under investigation.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Justine Haw said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this to please come forward.
“It took place in the early evening between a large group of people; therefore it is highly likely that someone may have seen what happened.
“If anyone has any information please call 101 or make a report online quoting reference number 43190197215.
“Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
