A SOUTHAMPTON man who assaulted a pregnant woman and smashed up her flat has been jailed.
Ben Glendinning assaulted his pregnant victim before smashing a mirror and a washing machine belonging to her.
The 28-year-old also breached a non-molestation order, Southampton Magistrates' Court heard.
Glendinning denied assault and criminal damage, but was found guilty by magistrates.
He pleaded guilty to breaching the non-molestation order.
Glendinning, of Wimpson Lane, Southampton, was jailed for three months.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and a restraining order was made preventing him from contacting his victim.
