THE sight of dozens of pedal cars speeding their way along New Milton’s high street had everyone desperate for a view of the action on Sunday.

In a fierce competition, crowds were treated to a spectacular afternoon of racing in the Pedal Car Grand Prix.

As Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton claimed a sixth British Grand Prix title at Silverstone, the drama on Station Street in the New Forest town had all in attendance glued to the action on the road.

Alongside a host of thrills, there was also the occasional spill around the tight turns of the town centre track.
