A VAN driver who caused a crash which left a woman injured has been fined.
Jason Terry Holloway was driving a Ford Transit on Redbridge Road, Southampton, when he changed lane and crashed into a red Volvo.
Southampton Magistrates’ Court heard that the crash, on August 21 last year, caused an injury to the Volvo driver.
Holloway pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving without due care and attention, but the case was proved in his absence.
The 44-year-old was fined £440, ordered to pay court costs of £660 and a victim surcharge of £44.
Holloway, of Olive Road, Southampton, was also given six points on his licence.
