A road in west Cumbria remains closed after a car crashed into a home.
Police are urging motorist to avoid the B5295 Keekle Terrace road at Cleator Moor after the crash this morning.
An 84-year-old was driving a Land Rover, just before 11.30am, when he smashed into the home.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: "The driver, an 84-year-old man, was not seriously hurt but was taken to the West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven to be checked.
"Nobody inside the property was hurt.
"We are asking motorists to avoid this road where possible while emergency services deal with the collision."
