DRIVERS are facing 50-minute delays following a multi-vehicle accident on the M27 near Southampton.
The incident, which has occurred on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway, has resulted in the closure of the outside lane.
Lanes one and two are still open but Highways England is urging motorists to drive with caution.
A police spokesman said: "We were called at 5.10pm following reports of a collision on the M27 eastbound near junction 7.
"A VW Golf, Ford Ranger, Ford Transit van and Ford Focus were reportedly involved.
"No injuries have been reported at this time. Enquiries are ongoing at the scene."
