A SOUTHAMPTON man has pleaded guilty to producing cannabis plants.
Andrew Stephen Bowers, 53, produced 86 cannabis plants between September 2017 and January 2018.
He was also caught with a quantity of amphetamine on January 24 last year.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Bowers, of Old Redbridge, Southampton, pleaded guilty to producing a Class B drug and possession of a Class B drug.
He was given an 18 month community order, including a six month drug intervention programme and 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirement.
Bowers was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
Magistrates also ordered the seized cannabis plants and amphetamine be destroyed.
