A FAREHAM man has been found guilty of assaulting a woman.
Gordon Bourke, 44, denied two counts of assault, on the same victim, on November 25 last year.
But he was found guilty following a trial at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court.
Bourke was also found guilty of using violence to secure entry to a property in Fareham on the same day as the assaults – a charge he also denied.
He was made the subject of a 12 month community order, including 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
Bourke, of Springfield Way, Fareham, was also ordered to pay court costs £620 and a victim surcharge of £85.
He was also made the subject of a restraining order, preventing him from contacting his victim.
