A HAMPSHIRE man has been found guilty of assaulting two police officers.
Daniel Philippe Nicholson assaulted the officers in Gosport on October 22 last year.
The 41-year-old denied two counts of assault, but was found guilty during a trial at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court.
Nicholson, of Huntspond Road, Locks Heath, was given a 12 month community order, including 120 hours of unpaid work.
He was also ordered to pay a total of £100 in compensation to the officers.
