Winners of a Wild West bar and diner's competition run in the Daily Echo, hit Ocean Village to claim their prizes.
The 100 lucky prize winners were picked from a deluge of entries that correctly named the rodeo ride at Way Out West as Buffalo Bill's Bucking Bronco.
The date was July 27, 1999, when the Southampton entertainment centre gave them the chance to play on the video and casino games, bowling alleys and pool tables – all for free.
And, of course, there was the opportunity to wrestle with the bucking bronco himself.
Winners Jane and Ray Bland of Hurricane Drive, Rownhams took their daughters Rhiannon and Cadi to enjoy the fun.
"I expect I will be dragged onto everything tonight," said Jane.
