A SOUTHAMPTON man has been charged with burglaries and fraud in the city.
Damon Dixon, aged 32, of Southcliffe Road, Southampton appeared before Southampton Magistrates Court today facing the charges.
Police charged Dixon today with two counts of burglary, one count of attempted commercial burglary and one count of fraud by false representation.
The charges relate to an attempted burglary at Equinox Barbers in Oxford Street between May 25 and May 28; an overnight burglary at The Slimming Clinic in Bedford Place on June 22 and 23; and a burglary at Wilton Lodge in Bedford Place on July 30 where a woman’s purse was taken and card was stolen and subsequently used fraudulently.
Dixon has been remanded into custody.
He is next due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on September 2.
