A WOMAN has lost £160 after she was burgled on August 6.
The 81-year-old victim received was burgled after she received a knock on the door from a man who claimed to be checking water pressure in the area.
The man soon entered the flat and checked the stop cock, before leaving.
The victim later checked her purse and found £160 was missing, which was reported to police later that day.
This happened at a flat in Banning Street, Romsey, and took place sometime between 2pm and 3.30pm.
A spokesperson from Hampshire police said: "Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting the crime reference number 44190277881."
