THE Chinese Association of Southampton (CAS) were joined by 300 guests, including Southampton’s mayor, councillor Peter Baillie, at the Northam Community Centre to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
Formed in 1999, the event on Wednesday August 14 honoured the community group by hosting a number of workshops from Southampton City Council, Hampshire Constabulary, NHS, Park Live, Cycling UK and various other groups.
Performances also entertained visitors during the event, including the likes of the CAS tai chi group and traditional Kung Fu by Wutan Kung Fu Centre.
