TWO men are due in court after a great-grandmother was killed in a crash in Branksome earlier this year.
As reported, Jackie Bradnick, 71, died of her injuries in Poole Hospital after she was involved in a collision with a car in Poole Road. She was on foot at the time of the crash, which happened shortly before 11.10pm on Friday, January 18.
A 70-year-old Bournemouth man has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday, August 30 for an offence of causing death by careless driving.
A 51-year-old Poole man has also been issued with a postal requisition to appear at the same court on the same date for an offence of driving without due care and attention.
After Ms Bradnick's death, her family paid tribute to their 'shining star'.
“Jackie - an amazing mum; nan; great grandma; sister and friend, she was adored by all those who knew her - a shining star," the tribute read.
“We are heartbroken."
