Kirsty, Kylie and Danielle Peck in court after incident at The Ice House in Shirley Warren

Danielle Peck “violently” pulled Kylie York to the floor before sister Kirsty Peck grabbed her hair.

Kylie Peck then used a wine bottle to deliver a “devastating blow” to her victim’s face, leaving her with a deep cut across the bridge of her nose.

On Friday, Kylie Peck, the youngest of the three, was jailed for 18 months, while Danielle was given a suspended sentence and Kirsty a community order.

Earlier this year, two of the sister’s boyfriends, Stuart House and Charlie Attrill, were given suspended sentences for taking knives and a piece of wood to the brawl.

Southampton Crown Court heard the attack took place at The Ice House, in Shirley Warren, on October 21.

Victim Kylie York was celebrating her 30th birthday at the pub, which was closed to the public, when Kirsty and her partner Stuart House attempted to enter.

Prosecutor Tim Moores said a scuffle broke out in which both Peck and House claimed they were assaulted.

Mr Moores said the pair left, but returned soon after with the two sisters and Attrill – the partner of Kylie Peck.

He said the group’s motive was “most likely revenge”.

But barristers for each of the three sisters denied this.

They said the group were attempting to get a handbag and mobile phone which had been left at the pub during the earlier incident.

Mr Moores said the incident began when Danielle “ran” at Ms York and pulled her to the ground by her hair.

He said Kirsty was then seen to pull the victim’s hair – in what the court heard was an attempt to pull Ms York off her sister.

Kylie, who was seen on CCTV carrying a wine bottle and a ceramic mug, then “pushed” the bottle into the Ms York’s face.

Mr Moores said the blow caused a cut across the bridge of Ms York’s nose – leaving a permanent scar spanning from one eye to the other.

Reading from a victim statement, Mr Moores said Ms York was “embarrassed” by the scar and had since stopped working at the Ice House – which is run by members of her family.

Barristers representing the sisters, two of who, Kirsty and Kylie, are currently pregnant, said they had all shown “remorse”.

In sentencing, Judge Peter Henry described the wine bottle blow as “devastating” and said the incident was motivated by “revenge”.

Danielle Peck, 33, of Coxford Road, who pleaded guilty to affray, was given a nine month, sentence, suspended for two years, as well as a six month curfew order.

Kirsty Peck, 31, of Chestnut Road, who pleaded guilty to affray, was given an 18 month community order, including 120 hours unpaid work.

Kylie Peck, 26, of Colby Street, who was found guilty of wounding without intent, was jailed for 18 months.

As reported in the Echo in February, Attrill, of Lockerley Crescent, Southampton, who pleaded guilty to affray, possession of a knife and possession of cocaine - all relating to the same incident - was given a 12 month sentence, suspended for 18 months.

House, of Old Redbridge Road, Southampton, who pleaded guilty to affray, possession of a knife and possession of a weapon, received the same punishment.
