A COASTGUARD helicopter and lifeboat have rushed to rescue a 75-year-old yachtsman in trouble off the south coast this morning.
The man who was reportedly experiencing chest pains and vomiting is now being transported to the Isle of Wight after getting into trouble off the south-west of the island.
A coastguard helicopter from Yarmouth and an all-weather lifeboat from Lee-on-Solent are assisting.
The man is believed to be with another yachtsman.
The emergency call came in at around 6am and the situation is ongoing.
