A MAN caught drink-driving at a motorway service station has been banned from the roads.
Christopher Robert Slatter was caught drink-driving at Rownhams Service Station on the M27 east on July 9.
When breathalysed by police the 39-year-old had 51 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol.
Slatter, of Norwich Avenue, Bournemouth, pleaded guilty during a hearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court.
He was banned from driving for 12 months.
Slatter was also fined £175, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £50.
