A DRIVER who failed to pay a parking fine has been slapped with a court bill of nearly £300.
Joanne Appleby was given a parking ticket at Coates Road Car Park in Gosport on March 21.
Portsmouth Magistrates' Court heard she failed to pay the fine within 21 days.
The case against her was proved in her absence last month.
Appleby, of Bridgemary Road, Gosport, was fined £120, ordered to pay compensation of £70, a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £70.
