POLICE have set up a tent and cordoned off an area of a Southampton park this morning.
Officers are at the scene in Riverside Park following the incident, and residents have reported seeing a police helicopter hovering over the city.

About seven police cars and vans are situated at the area between River Walk and Broadwater Road.
One resident said: “I heard cars screeching and then a bang that sounded like a gunshot, which woke me up. Then it all went quiet.”
