A BAKERY in Romsey have scooped an award for best UK Bakery.
Reeve the Baker have been crowned nest UK Craft Bakery 2019 at the Baking Industry Awards which took place in London.
The awards are the most prestigious event in the UK.
Reeve the baker were finalist in two categories - The Craft Bakery Business Award and Speciality Bread Product of the Year in which it entered its New Forest Wild Garlic and Emmental Sourdough.
Gary Reeve, managing director of the bakery, said: "It is with great pride that we have been awarded the title of Best Craft Bakery."
"We have a simple philosophy which is to honour the traditions of craft baking, using the best ingredients, to produce the best possible products.
"Our customer are wonderfully loyal and this award recognises their support over the years. It is great to know that our products are being recognised at such a high level."
Reeve the Baker is a bakery chain that was established in 1952, it now had 12 shops and tea rooms across South West England.
