FIREFIGHTERS from across the county are battling a thatch fire in Hampshire.
Twelve fire crews, including ones from Southampton, are tackling the blaze in Beauworth, near Alresford.
Fire chiefs say all residents are safe and have advised neighbours to keep windows and doors closed.

The road is also blocked between the A272 and Salt Lane and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
Firefighters from Alresford, Basingstoke, Alton, Fareham, Winchester, Eastleigh, Beaulieu, Redbridge and St Mary's, Hightown and Romsey are currently at the scene.
