EMERGENCY services rushed to a woman who was stuck in the mud near a Southampton bridge.
Coastguard crews, Hampshire Fire and Rescue and the police were called yesterday at around 5.10pm to a woman who was in the mud by Northam Bridge.
Southampton Coastguard Rescue Team, as well as Lymington Coastguard Team were involved.
A Coastguard spokesperson said the woman had "exited her rowing boat and tried to walk across the mud to get to the shore".
They added: "She managed to get out of the mud herself when we arrived."
The incident was closed at around 5.42pm.
