PEPPER

Pepper is a pretty little seven-year-old lurcher cross who has come to Oak Tree through no fault of her own. She loves meeting new people and going on long walks with lots of sniffing and exploring.

She finds cats far too tempting and exciting so would be best suited to a home without them.

Pepper does like her peace and quiet so would prefer a home without young children but could potentially live with sensible, older children who understand when she needs her space!

Pepper would love the use of a secure garden for playing, pottering and the occasional zoomies! Older dogs, especially black ones, tend to get overlooked but Pepper would make a wonderful companion for someone who loves long walks and snuggles on the sofa (who doesn’t!).

Pepper’s photos don’t do her justice and we are sure she will win you over with her cheeky charm and big cartoon eyes!

Are you looking for a female companion who loves long walks and snuggles?

MIDGE

Midge came to us after his owner sadly passed away. He is a charming and affectionate nine year old male who really loves a fuss. Every time you enter his pen he will greet you with a musical meep and a headbutt.

He is quite a chilled out character so would like a fairly easy going home. He has lived with a dog before so could probably do so again. His carefree confidence suggests that he could live with children too.

Midge would like a home where he can enjoy the outdoors and, as his previous home was near a fairly busy road, he is likely to have some traffic sense.

He would make a wonderful companion and would ask for little in return.

Are you looking for a charming and affectionate gentleman with whom to share your life?
