EMERGENCY work to repair a burst sewer pipe is set to keep a road closed over the weekend.
Southern Water engineers are dealing with the incident at Posbrook Lane in Titchfield.
A spokesperson for the utility company said: "We're working hard to repair the burst sewer pipe at Posbrook Lane in Titchfield and these works are likely to continue over the weekend.
"A road closure is in place and this allows us to control wastewater flows and repair the pipe safely.
"Customers may notice our tankers in the area as we carry out these emergency works.
"We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank everyone for their patience."
