A CRASH involving a motorbike and cyclist blocked a major Eastleigh road causing serious delays.
A male cyclist in his early 20s sustained minor injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital.
The incident happened at the junctions of Bishopstoke Road and Dutton Lane.
Bishopstoke Road was partially blocked in both directions during the incident that happened at around 7.30am this morning.
Motorists faced delays of 45-minutes on all approaches heading towards Station Hill Roundabout.
A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance Service said: "We received a 999 call at 6.38am with the caller reporting a collision between a motorcyclist and a cyclist at the junctions of Bishopstoke Road and Dutton Lane in Eastleigh. We sent an ambulance to the scene and fortunately the male cyclist, aged early 20s, had only sustained minor injuries and after initial treatment at the scene was then taken to University Hospital Southampton."
