Winchester shoppers were left feeling slightly more festive after Theatre Royal launched this year's pantomime, Dick Whittington.
Dame Dolly Dumpling performed a comic baking scene at The Brooks Shopping centre before walking up the High Street to pose for photos.
Dame Dolly is played by familiar face Julian Eardley, who has been the theatre’s panto dame for ten years.
He will once more be joined by Ed Thorpe as the lead role.
The pair first starred together in the theatre's 2017 show, Peter Pan.
Dick Whittington will be at Theatre Royal Winchester from Saturday, November 30, to Sunday, January 5 2020.
