A MAN was knifed in the stomach during an incident outside a home in New Milton in the early hours of this morning.
Police rushed to a property in Gore Road just after 5.25am.
A spokesperson from Hampshire police said a man was taken to hospital. He is not believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
"We were called at 5.26am on Friday to a report that a man had been assaulted outside a house in Gore Road," the spokesperson said.
"A 56-year-old man has been taken to hospital with wounds to his abdomen and arm.
"The injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
"An investigation is under way to establish the exact circumstances of what happened."
