AN EASTLEIGH pensioner had her purse stolen and hundreds of pounds was spent on her card.
Deanna Breckon, from Bishopstoke, said she cannot sleep or eat since the theft.
The 78-year-old said: "I went to the till at Savers, I looked down and there was no purse.
"The purse was worth £100, it had £200 cash inside it and £250 has been withdrawn from my account.
"I cannot get it reimbursed because my chip and pin was used."
She added: "I feel very very vulnerable, I cannot eat, I cannot sleep, I am shaking all the time."
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "At some time between 12.30pm and 1pm on 3 October a woman had her purse stolen in Eastleigh town centre.
"The matter is under investigation. Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting 44190353259."
