The cyclists moaning about the roads proves that you just can’t please people.
Southampton council is investing heavily in new cycle lanes to make cycling a better option in Southampton.
It’s far safer for cyclists to use the new cycle lanes than to put their lives at risk riding on busy roads with cars and lorries.
The council is right to encourage bike use as it cuts pollution and helps people stay fit and healthy!
Conservative’s Steve Galton and Royston Smith should stop moaning about the council giving cyclists a better deal. Instead they should lobby Boris to get more money for Southampton - so the council can make our roads fit and safe for cyclists and motorists alike.
