AMONG the cases heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court were:

KARL DEAN ANSTEY, 40, of St James Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order made for 12 months, including a four week electronically monitored curfew. Also ordered to pay £150 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £85. Restraining order made preventing him from contacting his victim for 12 months.

GORDON CRAIG, 53, of Chervil Close, Chandler’s Ford. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault. Community order made for 12 months, including 240 hours of unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £200 in compensation, £85 court costs and a victim surcharge of £90.

PHILIP JAMES BROWN, 50, of Gorley Nurseries, North Gorley, Fordingbridge, New Forest. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath and failing to surrender to court. Community order made for 12 months, including 25 days rehabilitation activity requirement days. Also banned from driving for 36 months, fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85.

JAMES DEREK ROBINSON, 38, of St James Close, Southampton. Admitted breaching community order by failing to comply with the conditions of curfew. Also pleaded guilty to drug driving, to driving without a valid MOT and with illegal tyre tread depth. Committed to prison for three months, suspended for 12 months. Also ordered to pay court costs of £60.

JAMES ANTHONY ALLEN, 36, of Chesnut Road, Southampton. Admitted breaching community order by failing to attend appointments. Ordered to complete three extra days of rehabilitation activity requirement.

DAVID PETER GRAHAM SHEATH, 29, of Testwood Road, Southampton. Admitted breaching community order by failing to attend appointments. Fined £300 and ordered to pay costs of £60.

TRACEY LOUISE WILSON, 51, of Langdown Road, Hythe, New Forest. Admitted breaching community order by failing to attend appointments. Fined £75.

MIROSLAV SEVLIK, 33, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty criminal damage. Fined £80, ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

CRAIG AARON PROCTER, 34, of Farringford Road, Thornhill, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order made for 12 months, including six month alcohol treatment requirement and 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirement. Also fined £80, ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £90.

JOANNE BOWER, 35, of Irving Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order made for 12 months, including 10 days of rehabilitation activity requirement. Fined £40, ordered to pay victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

DAVID JOHN ANTHONY LAYTON, 25, of Raleigh Close, New Milton, New Forest. Pleaded guilty to criminal damage. Community order made for 12 months, including 29 days of rehabilitation activity requirement. Also ordered to pay compensation of £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge or £85 and court costs of £85.

SIMON PAUL EDWARD WELCOME, 44, of Medina Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to theft and failing to surrender to bail. Community order made for 12 months, including 20 days rehabilitation activity requirement. Also fined a total of £400, ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £85.

EMMA LOUISE MCINDOE, 29, of Andrew Lane, New Milton, New Forest. Pleaded guilty to theft, breaching a criminal behaviour order and assault. Committed to prison for 12 weeks.
