A 40-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after a spate of indecent exposure incidents.

The man from Eastleigh was arrested last night in connection with several incidents in Chandler's Ford and Fair Oak last week.

A manhunt was previously launched after police received reports of a man exposing himself to women while in his car.

The incidents happened on Bradshaw Close, Oakmount Road and Oakgrove Road at the junction of Fair Oak Road.

On October 10, a man approached a woman on Derby Road asking for directions however it is not believed the man exposed himself.

On the first three occasions, the man remained in the driver’s seat and asked women for directions to McDonald’s before exposing himself.

Officers released CCTV images showing the vehicle that the man was reportedly driving when the offences happened.

On October 11, police arrested a 46-year-old man in connection with these incidents.

However, Hampshire Police say he has since been eliminated as a suspect.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Do you know a man that matches this description and drives a dark blue or black Vauxhall Zafira with distinctive wheels spokes?
