The inquest was heard at Winchester Coroners' Court
INITIAL enquiries have been unable to discover a cause of a death of a Southampton man.
Anthony Ahearne, 57, was found at home at a property in Paynes Road, Shirley on September 6.
An inquest in Winchester heard that Mr Ahearne was identified to police by his wife Charlotte Wyatt over the telephone by a description of his tattoos.
Consultant pathologist Adrian Bateman carried out a post-mortem and reported that the cause of death was currently unascertained.
Senior coroner Grahame Short adjourned the hearing until May 5 2020.
