POLICE have released CCTV after a burglary which took place while the victim was in the home.
Officers say a bank card was stolen during the burglary, in Chandler's Ford.
At some time between 1.10pm and 3.30pm on Friday, 18 October a burglary occurred at an address on Brownhill Road.
Police say the offender gained entry to the address via an unlocked rear patio door, while the homeowner was at home, and took a handbag from the kitchen.
A bank card, which was inside the handbag, has then been used in Sainsbury’s, Shirley.
Police have described the bag as a dark brown leather Fat Face satchel, with a dark mauve interior, and is worth £89.
The bag contained a grey and white Cath Kidston, worth £32 and contained various cards, between £180 and £200 cash and other sentimental items.
The bag also contained an Omega Constellation watch, valued £1800 and a silver ring with turquoise stone, worth appropriately £100 to £150, driving licence and a passport.
PC Paul Weston, said: “We are appealing for anyone who recognises either of the two people in the CCTV stills to come forward and speak to us.
