A RESIDENT choked to death at a nursing home in Bursledon, an inquest heard.
Bryan Lucker, 64, died at Bonhomie House on Dodwell Lane in June 30.
Dr Adnan Al-Badri, consultant pathologist, carried out a post-mortem at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester and reported the cause of death as choking caused by food inhalation, a cardiac arrest due to hypertension and a previous spinal injury.
Central Hampshire senior coroner Grahame Short adjourned the hearing until April 14 2020.
