ANOTHER new shop is set to open its doors in Eastleigh High Street this week.

RJS Convenience Store's grand opening is due to take place on Friday, and owner Sukhdev Raj hopes the place, located at 13 High Street, Eastleigh, will be packed full of members from the community.

The store will sell traditional products such as stamps, tobacco and cigarettes, alcohol, confectionary, fresh fruit and veg and household essentials, while also specialising in supplying Indian & International delicacies such as sauces, chutneys, authentic spices and poppadoms.

They are also hoping to provide a hot food section, where they can sell samosas for those who want a hot snack on the go.

Owner, Sukhdev Raj said: "This is a family run business and we are really looking forward to supporting the local community! It’s an exciting time for us, we have never run a convenience store before so bear with us as we fine tune the business to your needs and we hope to see you soon."

While the new shop was due to first open at the end of October, a few hiccups meant that the opening day has been pushed back to Friday November 8.
