POLICE have launched a hunt for a van driver after a child was 'approached in suspicious circumstances'.
Officers say the boy was approached by a man in a black van in Thornhill yesterday.
Police say the child ran away and the van then drove off.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "The driver was described as white with a beard, wearing a black hoody and driving a black transit van, but we have no further descriptions than this."
