IT’S the time of year when we remember the fallen - those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
Remembrance services are taking place across Southampton and Hampshire over the course of the next few days.
In town centres, churches at war memorials all over the region crowds will gather to pay their respects.
The Daily Echo has copiled a list of services and events taking place over the next week.


SOUTHAMPTON
Southampton Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade will be held at the Cenotaph on November 10. The service starts at 10.55am and will be conducted by the Right Reverend Debbie Sellin, the Bishop of Southampton. The service will be preceded by a Military and Veterans parade from Guildhall Square to the Cenotaph and the Mayoral Civic Procession. Everyone is welcome. 
Highfield Church in Portswood will hold a remembrance service staring from 10.50am on November 10. 
Remembrance service at Southampton Crematorium, Bassett Green Road, Southampton, at 10am to 11am on November 10
There will be a service of remembrance held at Southampton Old Cemetery at the Cross of Sacrifice just inside the Cemetery Road entrance. From 2pm to 3pm on November 10 Free parking is available on Cemetery Road and Hill Lane.

NEW FOREST
Calmore Community Centre will be holding a Remembrance Service on November 9 from 11am to 12.30pm. 
A Remembrance Sing-a-long will be taking place at St Michael’s Church in Lyndhurst on November 9 at 4pm. Tickets are £8 and children go free. 
Bransgore War Memorial at The Crown Crossroads will host the towns Remembrance Service on November 10. The service begins at 9.25am and will run until the silence at 11am. 
Lymington New Forest Hospital will be holding its Remembrance Service on November 11 at 2pm in the hospitals foyer. 
Brockenhurst’s Remembrance Service will be conducted at the War Memorial on Sway Road on November 10 at 11am. Everyone is invited to take part in a parade starting at Wilverley Road and Church Lane respectively, from 9.45am. 
Beaulieu Abbey Church will be holding its Service of Remembrance at 10am on November 10. 
An All Age Remembrance Parade Service is to take place at St Andrew’s Church in Dibden on November 10 from 10.30am to 11.30am.
A formal Remembrance Service will take place from 11am on November 10 at All Saints Church in Dibden.
A Remembrance Sing-a-long will be taking place at All Saints Parish Church in Minstead on November 10 at 3.30pm. 
A Remembrance Parade and Service will be taking place at 10.30am until 12pm on November 10. The service will take place at New Milton War Memorial at the Recreation Ground. 
Totton Remembrance Day Parade and Service will be held on November 10 from 9.30am until 12.30pm. The annual parade will start from the war memorial off Salisbury Road. 
Colbury Memorial Hall will be holding its Festival of Remembrance on November 10 at 7pm. Ocean brass will be playing at the festival along with the British Legion. The event is free to attend but you must register in advance.
Nomansland War Memorial the “Well of Sacrifice” will hold a Service of Remembrance on November 11 at 10.45am. The service will be proceeded by a Community Coffee Morning at The New Forest Primary School. 


TEST VALLEY
At Romsey ceramic poppies made by local residents will be on display at the Poppy Memorial at Romsey Station Approach during a Remembrance Service on November 9. 
The service starts at 4pm and will include poetry readings and an address and prayers. 
Romsey Abbey will hold its Remembrance Service on November 10 at 9.30am. It will also host a choral evensong and sermon at 6.30pm. 
St Mark’s Church in Ampfield will be holding its Remembrance Sunday Service between 9.30am and 10.30am on November 10. 
All Saints Church in North Baddesley will hold its Remembrance Service between 9.45am and 10.30am. This will be followed by a procession to St John the Baptist for the laying of wreaths and Act of Remembrance. 
Chilworth Parish Church Council will hold its Act of Remembrance on November 10 at the War Memorial in Chilworth starting at 10.35am and finishing at 11.10am.
An Act of Remembrance will take place at Braishfield War Memorial at 10.50am on November 10. The service will last one hour. 
Wellow Village Hall will be the starting point of a Remembrance Parade on November 10 starting at midday and finishing at 1pm. 

EASTLEIGH
A Remembrance Day Parade will take place in Hedge End at the War Memorial on St Johns Road at 10am on November 10. The parade itself will begin at 10.30am from the 2000 centre car park. 
Fair Oak’s Remembrance Service will take place at Fair Oak Square on November 10 at 11am. Services will be held at St Thomas Church and in the sports hall at Wyvern Technology College. Uniformed groups will parade from the college to Fair Oak Square for the Act of Remembrance. 
St Boniface Church in Chandlers Ford will be holding a Remembrance service on November 10. The civic service is due to run from 10.45am to 4pm. From 4pm an informal service will run until 6.30pm which is when evensong will commence. 
St Martin in the Wood Church in Chandlers Ford will be holding a Remembrance service on November 10. The service starts at 10.45am with a holy eucharist, followed by an Act of Remembrance. 
The Berry Theatre in Hedge End will have a Remembrance Day Concert on November 10, starting at 3pm. The Royal Marines Association Concert Band will be performing at the concert, and will feature marches, overtures and soloists.


WINCHESTER
St Mary’s Church in Twyford will host its Remembrance Service on November 10 at 10.30. 
Upham’s Remembrance Service will be held at the Blessed Mary Church on November 10 at 10.50am. 
Sparsholt Village Community Centre will be holding its Remembrance and Memorial Service on November 10 at 10.55am. 
The Hospital of St Cross will be holding its remembrance service from 8am on November 10. The service will start with a Holy Communion with the Parish Eucharist taking place at 9.30am. Choral matins will take place at 10.50am before the silence at 11am.


FAREHAM/GOSPORT
Fort Nelson will hold a remembrance service on November 10 at 10.45am. The service will start with a gun salute and end with firing a piece of Second World War artillery. The commemoration will end with a reading. The service is open to museum visitors. 
St Faith’s Lee Church in Lee-on-Solent will hold a Remembrance service after the Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial at 11am on November 10.

NORTH HAMPSHIRE
Sherfield-on-Loddon will be holding its Remembrance Service at the Sherfield Village War Memorial at 10.45am.
