A HUNT has begun for four masked armed robbers who attacked One Stop staff with a crow bar and a hammer.

The incident took place at around 9:30pm on Tuesday November 5, when four men attacked a staff member at a Southampton One Stop, causing a 'serious injury to the arm'.

The group then stole a 'large amount' of cigarettes and cash before escaping in a White Ford Fiesta.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses or people with dash cam footage of the incident that occurred on Park Business Centre, Park Road, to come forward.

A Hampshire Police Spokesperson said: "We understand the affect that these crimes have on local businesses, staff and the community and we are determined to identify those responsible. We have begun to make contact with local business owners across and working with them to ensure their premises and staff are protected and to ensure we are following up all lines of enquiry available to us."
