A PENSIONER died after falling down a flight of stairs on a double decker coach.
Brian Halliwell, of Grange-over-Sands, in Cumbria, was rushed to Southampton hospital on October 24 and died the following day.
An inquest into the 85-year-old’s death was opened at Hampshire Coroner’s Court on Monday.
Acting area coroner Samantha Marsh said that Dr Rachel Jenkins gave a preliminary cause of death of traumatic subdural haemorrhage.
Ms Marsh adjourned the inquest until May 11, 2020.
