Among the 20-year-old images are pictures of Hythe Strikers, Brendon and City Eagles.
That year Saints narrowly avoided relegation by one position and four points.
Manchester United won the treble of the Premiership title, FA Cup and European Cup. They were knocked out of the League Cup by Tottenham Hotspur who went on to lift silverware after beating Leicester City in the final.
