ALDI customers in Southampton will be the first to try their new range of vegan sweets today.
As part of a trial in selected stores across the South East, the vegan fruit gums come in three flavours, including Walter the Worm, Wendy the Worm and Leo the Lion - and all of them are gelatine free.
Walter and Wendy have apple, blackcurrant, cherry, and raspberry flavours, with Wendy the Worm giving a sour taste.
Leo the Lion sweets include flavours of orange, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, lemon, peach, grape and pear.
All three products are priced at 85p for a 170g bag.
These vegan treats are available in more than 30 stores across the South East for a limited time, but if they prove popular, they could be seen in all Aldi stores up and down the country.
