A MAN accused of committing a robbery with a gun has appeared in court.
Fardeen Hamidy, 25, is accused of robbing his victim of a gold chain worth £8,400 and £750 in cash.
The alleged robbery is said to have taken place in Herrick Close, Southampton, on November 6.
Hamidy is accused of being in a possession of a shotgun during the robbery.
He faces one allegation of robbery and one allegation of possessing a weapon while committing an offence.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court, Hamidy, of Goldsmith Avenue, Southsea, did not enter a plea to the two allegations.
He was remanded in custody until his next hearing at Southampton Crown Court, on December 12.
