HOTEL Du Vin Winchester recently celebrated their 25th anniversary with a celebration attended by over 200 guests.
The hotel on Southgate Street opened in 1994 and was the starting point for several notable careers – including influential hotelier Robin Hutson from the Lime Wood Group which includes the Pig stable, the late master sommelier Gerard Basset and TV presenter James Martin.
The hotel was the first 'du Vin' founded by Basset and Hutson, who had both previously worked at Chewton Glen Hotel near New Milton.
