A WOMAN who committed a spate of thefts in Southampton has been jailed.
Amy Louise Waldock, 25, stole from various stores across the city in between May and November this year.
On May 23, she stole groceries worth £64 from Co-Op.
On July 12, she stole cosmetics worth £253 from Boots, before stealing groceries worth £56.80 from Co-Op the next day.
On October 13, she stole £241 of perfume from John Lewis and, in the same month, stole £165 of alcohol from Asda at Portland Terrace.
Her latest theft took place at the same store on November 4, when she stole alcohol worth £98.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Waldock, of Butts Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to five counts of theft.
She also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to court bail and failing to comply with post-custodial supervision requirements.
Waldock was jailed for a total of 25 weeks.
