Little Mix tribute act Little Fix is just one part of a feast of festive entertainment at the Maryport Navy Club over the coming weeks.

There have been rumours in recent weeks that the club was to close but a packed programme says otherwise.

Club organisers have emphasised that the way to ensure the future of the club is for the public to support it and now they are making sure of this support with weeks of entertainment to please everyone.

Special events include a masked ball, a kids’ Christmas party and a New Year’s Eve family party.

The entertainment starts this Friday, November 15, with Lady’s Night featuring male stripper Stella the Fella and a disco.

In the weeks leading up to Christmas there is live entertainment every Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a list of artists including Lee Adams, Jungle Rock, Vision, the Kings Road and the Mustangs.

Thursday December 5 is “cheeky” quiz night and Friday December 13 will prove lucky for everyone. That is the night Little Fix will be here with their tribute to Little Mix.

The children’s Christmas party is on Saturday December 21 from 3pm to 5pm followed by entertainment from Spud in the evening.

The “after Christmas masked ball” will be held on December 28. The ball will have a festive feel and will climax with the removal of masks at midnight.

The club is celebrating New Year’s Eve from 6.30pm to 1am but this will be a family event with children welcome.
