A SOUTHAMPTON man who used racially aggravated abuse has been given a curfew.
Michael Stephen Alfred Simmons, 41, used threatening or abusive words or behaviour towards his victim on May 14.
He also damaged a window belonging to Bitterne Pharmacy.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Simmons, of Roundhill Close, Southampton, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.
The court found the offence was racially aggravated.
He also pleaded guilty to criminal damage.
Simmons was given a 12 month community order, including a three month electronically monitored curfew.
He was also ordered to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to pay £84 in compensation and £85 in costs.
