A SOUTHAMPTON man died the day he was admitted to hospital with pneumonia and alcoholic liver disease.
Peter James Wright, 53, was taken to Southampton General Hospital by ambulance from his home on October 31, an inquest heard.
Mr Wright, of St Denys Road, St Denys, died the same day.
A post-mortem by Dr Matthew Sommerlad reported that the causes of death was bronchial pneumonia, alcoholic liver disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and diabetes mellitus.
Acting area coroner Sam Marsh adjourned the hearing in Winchester until May 14 2020.
