AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of a 103-year-old at a New Milton care home.
Sophia Hudson died on November 11 at Kingfishers Care Home, The Meadows, where she was a resident.
On Friday coroner Samantha Marsh opened an inquest into Ms Hudson’s death at Winchester Coroner’s Court.
Dr Will Howard gave a preliminary cause of death as subdural haematoma, alongside head injury, severe frailty and old age.
A full inquest is expected to be heard on February 19, 2020.
