A MARCHWOOD man has been banned from the roads after he was caught almost twice the drink drive limit.
Matthew Laurence Chantler, 32, was caught drink driving on Spicers Hill in Totton on October 20.
He had 62 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Chantler, of Pooks Green in Marchwood, pleaded guilty at Southampton Magistrates Court.
He was disqualified from driving for 20 months and fined £100.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and £85 in court costs.
