POLICE have released an image of a man in connection to a house burglary in Southampton, where a Rolex watch was stolen.

The incident took place between 10am and 4:30pm on Thursday November 21 on Brook Lane, Warsash, where two offenders gained entry to a property by smashing the glass in the back door.

Many items of high value were stolen, including designer handbags and a Rolex Carrera watch.

The CCTV images released show one of the offenders wearing a distinctive blue Moncler jacket.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "Do you recognise this person in the blue Moncler jacket? We appreciate you can’t see his face but do you recognise him? Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have you been offered for sale any designer handbags or a Rolex Carrera watch?

"Anyone with information is asked to call us on 101, quoting 44190419183.

"Alternatively, people can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously."
